With the development of information and communication technology as well as the rise of sharing economy, “Internet plus” brings lots of fresh opportunities for different industries. We hope to take these great opportunities and encounter the challenges in the field of "Internet-plus" Manufacturing and Services Operations Management.
The workshop is focusing on the state-of-the-art research in Internet-Plus Manufacturing and Services Operations Management which is usually a platform mode, broadly defined. The purpose of the workshop is to create a forum for leading academic researchers and practitioners from China and overseas to foster interaction and exchange ideas, learn from each other about new methodologies and applications, and explore opportunities for collaboration in the field of Internet-Plus Manufacturing and Services Operations Management. The workshop is Sponsored by Incubating Center of Overseas Expert Introduction (111 Incubating Center) and College of Information Science and Engineering, Northeastern University, China.
The Workshop deliberations will be on the following topics: Supply Chain Management, Pricing and Service Operations, Game Theory, Inventory, Empirical Research, Revenue Management, Data-Driven Operations, Dynamic Programming and Operations strategy, etc. Eight international famous researchers are invited as Keynote Speakers in the workshop: Prof. David Yao from Columbia University; Prof. Shu-Cherng Fang from North Carolina State University; Prof. Youhua (Frank) Chen from City University of Hong Kong; Prof. Xin Yao from University of Birmingham; Prof. George Huang from The University of Hong Kong; Prof. Xin Chen from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; Prof. Yaozhong Wu from National University of Singapore; and Prof. Yiwei Chen from University of Cincinnati.
